About the role

  • Marketing Manager responsible for lead generation at E-Commerce agency in Cologne. Collaborating with management and sales on marketing strategies to strengthen the Webmatch brand.

Responsibilities

  • You will shape our marketing holistically with the clear goal of generating qualified leads and sustainably strengthening the Webmatch brand.
  • Build and develop a lead-generation funnel (content, website, events)
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies with a clear conversion focus
  • Create communication concepts for our agency brand based on the agency positioning
  • Create and manage landing pages, lead magnets, and campaigns
  • Own our website including the blog and conversion optimization
  • Expand our LinkedIn presence (company + executive leadership) with a focus on inbound leads
  • Plan and execute events as a lead channel (e.g., meetups, executive dinners, trade shows)
  • Work closely with Sales to define and hand over MQLs
  • Manage external service providers and lead our marketing student assistant
  • Optional: build new formats such as podcast or video content

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience building lead funnels and demand generation
  • Strong in content marketing with a conversion focus
  • Understanding of landing pages, lead magnets, and customer journeys
  • Experience with tools such as CRM / marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot)
  • You are hands-on and can execute tasks yourself — not just manage them
  • Familiarity with topics and theses from our industry environment (TCO, replatforming, technologies, etc.)
  • General interest in e-commerce and digital business models
