About the role
- Analyst managing relationships with key journalists and market vehicles at Webedia. Identifying opportunities and creating strategic content for the press.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and grow relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Identify opportunities, dive into audience data, conceive, develop and pitch strategic and creative storylines to the press.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the department, including media mention monitoring and results analysis.
- Represent Webedia at industry events, strengthening networking.
- Support coverage of events and internal initiatives, assisting in the rapid creation of content for corporate social media channels.
Requirements
- Solid experience (mid-level) in Press Relations or Public Relations, either agency-side or in-house.
- Active, proven relationships with journalists covering Marketing, Advertising, Business and/or Technology beats.
- Proactive, independent, hands-on attitude.
- Excellent storytelling skills.
- Ability to think in terms of multimedia content (short videos, photos).
- Basic proficiency with media monitoring tools and social media management platforms.
- Nice-to-haves: Prior experience in the B2B market or with technology/martech companies; passion for or knowledge of our focus areas: games, film, food, health and technology; basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere) or design (Canva) skills.
