About the role
- Laboratory Assistant managing sample admission and pre-analytical handling in a modern laboratory. Collaborating with a team to maintain quality standards and hygiene regulations.
Responsibilities
- You work in a team on the essential foundation for laboratory collaboration: you receive incoming samples, centrifuge and accurately register them, and then distribute them correctly.
- You are responsible for the pre-analytical processing of all incoming orders.
- If an order is unclear, you contact the sender/referrer to clarify the situation.
- Using various sample distribution devices, including a modern track system, you assign the material correctly.
- Depending on the order, you then send the samples to our partner laboratories.
- You also ensure that not only our high quality standards but also hygiene and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a BTA, CTA or MFA (m/f/d) or a similar qualification
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late shifts, including weekends and public holidays); no night shifts
- A plus, but not required: some laboratory experience
- Above all, you are a committed, reliable individual who likes to take responsibility, enjoys learning new things, and delivers excellent service to others as part of a strong team.
