Responsibilities
Monitor accounting, tax and corporate accounting processes and routines together with the team;
Ensure information is compliant with IFRS standards;
Ensure tax/fiscal management is executed as efficiently as possible;
Ensure the accuracy of recorded accounting information and adherence to monthly and annual closing deadlines;
Systematically monitor financial results;
Manage cash flow and treasury, implementing best practices for proper working capital management;
Develop recommendations for the board focused on improvements to financial processes;
Define payment terms and billing policies;
Manage accounts receivable and delinquency;
Implement financial KPIs and indicators;
Participate in projects to adjust systems and processes to comply with new rules related to tax reform.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting, with active CRC (Brazilian accounting registration);
Advanced English or French for meetings with the parent company;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills;
Broad business perspective, cost-reduction focus, experience implementing ERP systems, process reviews and IFRS;
Expertise in accounting and tax, accessory obligations (ECD, ECF, SPED) and tax reform;
Experience supporting external audits;
Team management experience;
Consolidation of financial statements;
MBA or postgraduate degree in controllership or accounting (differential);
Knowledge of tax planning;
Management of treasury routines, foreign exchange closing and preparation/control of foreign currency loans and cash-flow management;
Experience with Protheus ERP;
Experience in an international company with reporting to a foreign parent company.
