Responsibilities
Help clients design and implement modern data architectures, working on strategic transformation programs and hands-on delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project groups to unlock the full potential of Databricks and drive business success.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
Build data pipelines, models, and integrations leveraging Databricks and associated technologies.
Support data transformation and migration initiatives in the insurance and financial services sectors.
Establish Databricks best practices, contribute to pre-sales efforts, proposals, and internal training.
Requirements
Proven hands-on expertise in Databricks, gained through client projects or internal data initiatives.
Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Delta Lake, Data Mesh, MDM), data modelling, and cloud-based platforms.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Azure Data Factory), Python and pySpark.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – practical project experience is a plus.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions – and vice versa.
Fluency in German and English.
