About the role

• Principal Consultant designing and implementing solutions around Accounting, Controlling and Cash & Treasury in SAP S/4HANA for international clients of Wavestone.

Responsibilities

• You design and implement innovative, future-oriented solutions around Accounting, Controlling and Cash & Treasury as part of projects for our local and international clients.
• You lead teams of experts—internally or at project level—and actively take responsibility for their performance and development.
• You are used to communicating at the executive level and actively build your own network around Finance and Technology topics, either across industries or with a focus on Financial Services (Swiss banks and insurance companies).
• You engage in our innovative focus areas such as GenAI in Finance, Financial Reporting and Working Capital Management.
• You help shape the future of the team and take on entrepreneurial activities such as pre-sales or acting as an account manager.

Requirements

• 10+ years of consulting experience in SAP Finance
• Solid knowledge of value flows and processes as well as the associated solutions in the SAP environment
• Project experience with S/4HANA as well as with agile and/or traditional project methodologies is desirable
• Ideally, knowledge/experience in at least one of our focus areas: GenAI, Financial Reporting, SAP Group Reporting with S/4HANA; initial experience with SAP RISE and/or integration with cloud solutions is an advantage
• Fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
