About the role
- Finance Operations Manager handling Swiss accounting and reporting for cybersecurity company. Involves bookkeeping, compliance, and process automation in a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounting: You are responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as the monthly close process (including accruals and reconciliations).
- Reporting & compliance: You prepare financial reports according to Swiss standards and serve as the main contact for our auditors.
- SaaS specialist: You support billing for complex, usage-based subscriptions—the core of our business model.
- Process architect: You help automate processes and prepare our finance systems for the next level (ERP migrations).
- Strategic partner: You prepare datasets for management and support budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Foundation: You are an accountant with a Swiss federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) or hold an equivalent qualification and have in-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting standards.
- Industry know‑how: You have worked in the tech sector (SaaS/Fintech) and understand how recurring revenue works.
- Tech stack: Excel/Google Sheets are second nature to you. Tools such as Bexio, Kontera or Odoo are familiar to you.
- Ownership mentality: You work in a structured, self-directed way. When you spot a problem, you look for the solution.
- Language skills: You communicate confidently in German and English, as our team is international and based in Zurich.
