Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of an effective compliance program for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance.
Collaborate with business partners to understand business strategies and identify potential compliance risks.
Respond to compliance questions and issues; monitoring laws and regulations for specified area.
Draft and update policies and standard operating procedures.
Develop effective training and communications strategies for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance associates and providers.
Identify and implement effective auditing and monitoring strategies to assess effectiveness of controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Subject matter expertise in pharmacy-controlled substance compliance requirements.
Significant experience and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
A process-oriented mindset looking for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
