About the role

  • Manager supporting development and implementation of compliance program at Walmart Health & Wellness. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance in pharmacy service lines with nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of an effective compliance program for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand business strategies and identify potential compliance risks.
  • Respond to compliance questions and issues; monitoring laws and regulations for specified area.
  • Draft and update policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop effective training and communications strategies for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance associates and providers.
  • Identify and implement effective auditing and monitoring strategies to assess effectiveness of controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • Subject matter expertise in pharmacy-controlled substance compliance requirements.
  • Significant experience and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • A process-oriented mindset looking for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
