Product Development & Regulatory Specialist in an innovative nutricosmetic company. Supporting product innovation and regulatory compliance for collagen-based supplements in global markets.
Responsibilities
Develop and support new product formulations across food supplement and nutraceutical categories.
Contribute to the end-to-end development of new supplements, from initial concept and formulation through to manufacturing across multiple formats.
Review and validate packaging artwork to ensure regulatory, nutritional, and scientific accuracy.
Ensure labelling, packaging, and marketing claims comply with relevant regulatory frameworks.
Prepare and support documentation for product notifications and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate stability testing plans and ingredient shelf-life assessments with laboratories and manufacturers.
Monitor scientific literature and regulatory developments to inform product strategy and innovation.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and design, as well as external consultants and partners.
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
2–4 years’ experience in product development and/or regulatory affairs within the food supplement or nutraceutical sector.
Experience reviewing or supporting nutrition, health, or cosmetic claims substantiation.
Familiarity with EFSA claims, food supplement dossiers in different regions, and cosmetic PIFs.
Experience working specifically with food supplements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced product development environment.
