Responsibilities
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of the department (commercial shipping, small-parts shipping, machine packaging and mailroom)
- Responsible for staff management and development
- Monitoring, control and continuous improvement of departmental processes
- Assuming customs responsibility and coordination within the shipping area
- Organizing large machine shipments, special orders and transports
- Coordinating cooperation with freight forwarders and external service providers

Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training with professional experience in international shipping/logistics
- Management experience
- Professional experience in mechanical engineering desirable
- Solid knowledge of export and customs matters as well as international trade (ATLAS export declaration, rules of origin, tariff classification, Incoterms)
- Confident user of MS Office and SAP (or a comparable ERP system)
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership skills, resilience and flexibility
