- Organizing large machine shipments, special orders and transports
- Coordinating cooperation with freight forwarders and external service providers
- Managing internal packaging processes and overseeing external packaging orders
- Responsibility for regulatory reporting
- Developing, implementing and monitoring measures to improve quality and productivity
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training with professional experience in international shipping/logistics
- Management experience
- Professional experience in mechanical engineering desirable
- Solid knowledge of export and customs matters as well as international trade (ATLAS export declaration, rules of origin, tariff classification, Incoterms)
- Confident user of MS Office and SAP (or a comparable ERP system)
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership skills, resilience and flexibility
- Systematic, independent and goal-oriented working style
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative
