About the role
- Director of Finance at Vouch, driving financial architecture and strategic planning. Collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize business performance.
Responsibilities
- Own the Financial Architecture: Own and enhance Vouch’s 3-statement and business unit financial models.
- Lead the annual and semi-annual planning processes, and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership.
- Produce materials for the executive team, Board of Directors, and investors providing financial clarity to guide strategic decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, Product, and Data teams to refine driver-based unit economics and analyze P&L impact.
- Drive enhancements to and adoption of financial planning and reporting software.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report, helping them grow their skills in business partnering and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate FP&A, or investment banking, with a background in high-growth tech or fintech environments
- Expert-level 3-statement modeling skills (P&L / balance sheet / cash flow) with the ability to build complex models from scratch
- Experience partnering with executives to influence strategy, pricing, and resource allocation
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring team members and leading cross-functional processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear narratives for the Board and investors
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you must manage ambiguity and pick up unstructured tasks to run them to completion
