About the role
- Senior Business Solution Consultant enhancing Volue's scheduling solutions for energy companies. Collaborating with clients and internal teams for implementation projects and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to overall success of implementation projects within the Volue Scheduler team
- Agree with customer on success criteria for the project scope where you are the senior
- Gain an overview of the deliveries in projects
- Guide the less experienced consultants in how to perform their tasks in the projects
- Contribute to high utilisation and hourly rates of the team
- Support to the PM on the project quality aspects scope, time and cost
- Lead customer meetings
- Responsibility for deliveries to existing accounts
- Recognise customer requirements, ask questions and follow up
- Identify and follow up sales opportunities
- Contribute to closing bigger sales cases by estimating new projects, run demos, give input to solution design
Requirements
- Relevant degree from a university preferred
- Track record of 3-5 years’ experience with software projects within the energy industry, especially in the field of market communication and scheduling in European power and gas markets
- Knowledge and experience with scripting (Groovy, Java), message exchange formats, web services and other communication protocols preferred
- Good knowledge of SQL preferred
- Proactive, constructive, and solution-oriented communication skills to interact with team members, project stakeholders, and customers
- A structured and systematic working approach, reliability and dedication to deliver results
- Ability to work within international and multicultural teams
- Advanced English language skills
- Good German language skills are an advantage.
