About the role
- Infrastructure Engineer focused on enhancing Active Directory systems and security for Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions in Portugal. Collaborating with teams to ensure infrastructure integrity and security.
Responsibilities
- Improve and harden the existing Active Directory (Entra ID) infrastructure, including the secure admin environment
- Design and implement infrastructure and security enhancements
- Challenge and support the operational team to improve current operational processes and tasks
- Protect our infrastructure with a strong security mindset
- Drive continuous development of the Active Directory and Entra ID / Microsoft 365 environment with stakeholders from MAN and Traton Group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a related role
- Expertise in Active Directory and Entra ID design, security concepts, and recommended practices
- Strong experience with Windows Server operations
- Knowledge of security designs, best practices, and system hardening
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud (Azure Security Center), and Microsoft 365
- Experience with ESX/SAN infrastructure operations and related security concepts
