About the role
- Material Planning Analyst ensuring supply chain efficiency for GOL Linhas Aéreas. Involved in material supply planning, stock control, and strategic communication with related departments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute material supply, taking into account failure probability, consumption history, and maintenance schedules.
- Calculate optimal inventory levels and identify the need for preventive purchases to reduce the risk of stockouts.
- Support inventory budget control by monitoring inflows and outflows, comparing actuals versus budget, and identifying deviations and root causes.
- Analyze and propose inventory replenishment strategies aligned with corporate policy and inventory health indicators.
- Apply inventory management methodologies (ABC/XYZ, safety stock, reorder point) to optimize costs.
- Develop strategic studies to optimize inventory and reduce emergency purchases.
- Maintain active communication with related departments (Engineering, Purchasing, COMEX, Operations) to align demands and mitigate risks.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, relevant information for the board and management, strengthening decision-making.
- Participate in KPI governance and leadership presentations, providing in-depth analyses and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Analytical thinking and strategic vision.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to anticipate scenarios and propose preventive solutions.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools.
- Solid knowledge of planning and failure prediction methodologies.
- Intermediate English (advanced level is a plus).
- Certifications in Lean and/or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Good time and priority management.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (AMOS, SAP or similar preferred).
- Knowledge of SQL, Python and VBA.
- Spanish is a plus.
