About the role
- Execute the audits scheduled in the Annual Audit Plan, including process mapping, identification of risks and controls, and performance of substantive tests to assess their effectiveness and compliance;
- Define the audit scope according to internal methodology;
- Prepare Internal Audit Reports and present findings to the responsible managers;
- Support the Risk Management team to update Azul's risk map;
- Develop KPIs for Azul's critical processes/transactions;
- Follow up on implementation of action plans for observations identified during audits;
- Assist in preparing materials to be presented to executives and the Audit Committee;
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and audit best practices;
- Willingness to travel;
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- Experience at a Big Four firm;
- Knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance;
- Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends;
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization;
- Proficiency in English is a plus;
- Postgraduate studies, certifications, or courses related to Audit, Risk, Internal Controls, Compliance, or Governance are a plus;
- Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx) is a plus;
- Experience in the civil aviation industry is a plus.
