About the role

• Roaming Deployment Engineer ensuring seamless technical enablement and performance of international roaming services. Collaborating with teams to manage interconnects for voice, SMS, and data services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute service opening tests for voice, SMS, data, VoLTE, and 5G, ensuring accurate configuration and documentation (IR.21, IR.85).
• Maintain routing and signalling setups across interconnect platforms and update partner configurations.
• Analyse and resolve roaming and interconnect-related issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with GSMA standards.
• Validate readiness for new roaming launches and approve service opening test results and go-live status

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, telecommunications, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in telecom engineering, preferably in roaming or interconnect.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile network architecture (2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Familiarity with signalling protocols: SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP.
• Experience with network elements such as HLR/HSS, STP, DRA, PGW/SGW, IMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage projects and priorities with high attention to detail and adaptability to evolving technologies.
