About the role
- Assisted Channel Tester ensuring new products and systems work for Vodafone operations. Collaborating with teams for Deployment Validation Testing and early life support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure new products, services, system updates, or releases for retail and indirect channels work as intended before they go live
- Handle Deployment Validation Testing and provide early life support
- Create and refine test scripts to fully check end-user systems before release
- Follow test scripts and log any risks or issues identified during testing
- Act as a link between Direct/Indirect Channels and Test Leads to share feedback
- Support communication and readiness for Business Change, Training, and Retail
- Provide Early Life Support as subject matter experts to other support teams for IT system, software, or hardware changes into the estate
Requirements
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Clear understanding of Newco systems like Halo, Back office and Consumer Operations
- Confident with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to turn technical jargon into clear, simple language
- Vodafone Retail experience or equivalent customer facing experience
