Responsibilities
Define technical guidelines for next-generation networks, integrating innovations across Fixed and Mobile Networks to support new services and ensure the company’s technological competitiveness.
Conduct market scouting and innovation, acting as the Technology area’s interface with the market, major vendors and global-scale companies.
Lead complex technology modernization programs, including migration to next-generation architectures (5G/6G, FTTH, SDN/NFV, Cloud/Edge).
Seek Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions to advance network automation and autonomy across all domains.
Lead technical and managerial teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and high performance.
Establish KPIs and success metrics to monitor network evolution, service quality and operational efficiency.
Serve as a strategic interlocutor with global suppliers, technology partners and regulatory bodies.
Strong budget management, ensuring planning and optimization of the company’s investments.
Drive cultural transformation by encouraging agile practices and a digital mindset across the organization.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related fields; postgraduate degree/MBA preferred.
Experience: 12–15 years in telecommunications, with a proven track record in leading large-scale projects and network transformation.
Languages: Advanced English and Spanish.
Holistic view of large-scale mobile (4G/5G) and fixed networks (FTTH, GPON/XGSPON) operation.
Virtualization (SDN/NFV), cloud/edge computing and associated automation techniques.
Experience with OSS tools and systems, provisioning and service orchestration across all network technical domains.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to networks: optimization algorithms, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, intelligent automation.
Leadership skills: managing multidisciplinary teams, strong orientation to innovation and openness to new technologies, strategic decision-making, executive communication and high-level influence and negotiation skills.
