About the role

• AI Specialist leading architecture strategy for Vivo, focusing on Generative AI and scalable solutions. Coordinating AI initiatives in partnership with key business areas to ensure high impact functionality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise-level AI architecture strategy covering Generative AI, NLP, agents, and decision platforms, ensuring full alignment with technological and business strategy.
• Technically coordinate AI initiatives in partnership with Architecture, Cloud, Data, and Microservices teams, influencing standards and foundational decisions across the company.
• Work directly with business units to understand needs and translate challenges into robust, scalable architectures with high operational impact.
• Define the AI technology roadmap, considering multicloud environments, multiple model providers, regulatory requirements, and risk governance.
• Design and evolve the enterprise AI platform, including RAG, agent architectures, security frameworks, observability, and model management.
• Ensure corporate standards for governance, scalability, cost, interoperability, and reliability across all AI solutions.
• Advance the Generative AI platform as a corporate pillar for automation and customer experience.
• Implement enterprise agent architectures integrating multiple models, domains, and channels.
• Build a unified, customer-centric knowledge platform (RAG) operating at scale.
• Define a federated AI governance model, ensuring security, compliance, and risk mitigation in critical projects.
• Engage with multiple organizational levels, including the Executive Board, global stakeholders, and international partners.

Requirements

• Serve as a technical authority in AI and agent-based solutions, leading the design of Chatbots, Generative AI, agents, and scalable platforms.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional squads, guiding architecture, development, and engineering best practices.
• Define and detail architectural components in collaboration with partner areas (Architecture, Cloud, Data, Microservices).
• Ensure quality, security, observability, and adherence to corporate standards in AI deliveries.
• Conduct technical feasibility analyses, evaluating emerging technologies and proposing robust, scalable solutions.
• Support senior management and the director in technical decision-making and strategic alignment of AI initiatives.
• Proven experience in large-scale projects involving Generative AI, agent-based architectures, scalable platforms, and digital transformation.
• Strong working knowledge of traditional Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Solution architecture experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana (ECK), OpenAI, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Development experience with Python, TypeScript, C# (.NET Core), and React.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and Argo, using rigorous validation and deployment processes.
