About the role
- Design and implement APIs, SDKs and orchestration layers for AI agents and services. Work on cloud‑native microservices (Node.js/Python), Kubernetes, CI/CD and observability in a collaborative squad environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain platform services, SDKs and APIs (Node.js/Nest.js and/or Python).
- Implement integrations and orchestration layers for AI agents and services.
- Ensure security, performance, resilience and observability in distributed (cloud‑native) systems.
- Collaborate with squads and support technical decisions (design docs/RFCs, code reviews).
- Evolve CI/CD (Azure DevOps), DevOps/Infrastructure as Code best practices and automations.
- Strengthen quality culture (tests, linters, standards).
- Build microservices with synchronous communication (REST/gRPC) and asynchronous communication (messaging, SSE/WebSockets).
- Operate Kubernetes and Docker in production; troubleshoot networking, storage and scalability.
- Implement observability (logs, metrics, tracing, alerts) and participate in incident response.
- Automate routines and integrations (inference scripts, data processing, API testing).
- Handle requests/JSON and prompt contexts in AI solutions.
Requirements
- Strong backend experience in Node.js (preferably Nest.js) and/or Python.
- Microservices architecture and API design (REST and gRPC).
- Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, operation and troubleshooting).
- Cloud‑native experience (preferably Azure: AKS, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Redis and MongoDB).
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git (branching strategies, pull requests, automation).
- API security (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, authentication/authorization, secrets management).
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous communication (SSE, WebSockets).
- Practical experience with observability (logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards and alerts).
- Completed higher education degree (required).
