About the role

Responsibilities
- Further develop our procurement strategy for all relevant product categories, including master data management and KPI/metrics monitoring
- Ensure cost-effective procurement, high quality, and supply stability
- Lead negotiations and contract conclusions for high-volume orders
- Support planning and management of EU-wide tendering procedures
- Drive the further development of our digital procurement solutions
- Establish, develop, and maintain strategic supplier relationships
- Conduct market analyses and identify new sourcing options
- Provide subject-matter support on purchasing-related topics and procurement projects for our clinics
- Organise and provide expert support for specialist working groups
- Provide professional leadership to staff, report directly to the head of department, and manage stakeholder communication
Requirements
- Degree in business, pharmaceutical sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Leadership experience and strong strategic skills
- Solid understanding of market mechanisms
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking and decisiveness
