About the role

  • Accountant managing financial operations for Hirsch's German subsidiary. Responsibility includes bookkeeping, tax declarations, and financial process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Management of day-to-day accounting
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Expense report management
  • Credit card management
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Management of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Preparation of tax filings (VAT, EC sales lists/intrastat, corporate income tax…)
  • Cash flow planning
  • Improvement of internal processes
  • Participation in various financial projects

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting
  • Fluent in German
  • Rigorous, organized, responsive and able to manage priorities
  • Autonomous and dynamic (self-starter)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an analytical and synthesizing mindset
  • A true business partner
  • Committed and proactive, with the ability to propose improvements
