About the role

  • Assistente Contábil supporting accounting tasks at INNOVARE CONTABILIDADE LTDA. Responsible for bookkeeping, document verification, and customer support in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accounting Analyst/Accounting Supervisor with accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Maintain a positive work environment, keep the department and equipment organized, and ensure common areas are orderly.
  • Record accounting entries.
  • Prepare account statements/extracts in Excel.
  • Request documents from clients.
  • Verify fiscal/tax documents.
  • Perform accounting reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Sort and organize physical documents.
  • File documents on the server according to the department's established standards.
  • Send outstanding items to clients and internal departments and monitor responses.
  • Provide client support through available communication tools and systems.
  • Configure and import accounting entries into the Domínio modules for Payroll, Fiscal Records, and Fixed Assets.

Requirements

  • Preferably experience with the Domínio system
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Basic knowledge of corporate and accounting legislation
  • Degree, High School diploma, or Technical education
