About the role
- Strategic Controls Manager managing fleet strategic controls functions for Vistra. Responsible for fleet Long Range Plan development, budget management, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead various fleet strategic controls functions
- Focus on overall fleet Long Range Plan (LRP) development, Budget Management, Software Integrations, KPIs, Fleet Metrics, Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives
- Provide cost and budget development and monitoring, project estimating support and coordination, procurement and contracts support, and administrative support to the fleet organization
- Act as sponsor for the health of the plant systems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- BS in Engineering, BA in Business or Construction Management (recommended)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (recommended)
- At least 10 years of experience in a combined finance, construction or project controls/management roll (ideal)
- 5 years management/supervision of Project Controls functions (budgeting, scheduling, project support or project management)
