Responsibilities
support Directors in managing the overall client engagement including drafting & reviewing proposal, completing client acceptance form, developing scope of work, and estimating the proposed fee
complete TP assignments including preparation of TP Documentation Reports and Comparable Study Reports
prepare/review kick-off meeting slides and interview questionnaires (for the purpose of Functions, Assets & Risk (FAR) Analysis)
handle TP advisory work including preparation of TP advice and assisting client with responding to IRB in the event of TP audit
provide proper “job set-up” instructions to staff – including going through the job scope with them and provide necessary guidance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Accounting, Finance, etc) or possess professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA)
Minimum of 8-10 years of working experience in Tax, particularly in Transfer Pricing.
Good understanding and knowledge of TP provisions in the Income Tax Act, 1967 Malaysian TP Guidelines, TP rules OECD TP Guidelines, Global TP Developments, Clarification provided by the IRB on TP related issues
Strong team player that embraces international collaboration
Able to prioritise and ensure agreed timelines are adhered
Ability to identify issues and bring in experts to solve client issues
Competent with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
