About the role

  • AI Transformation Programs Director overseeing AI and advanced automation projects for Virtuos game development. Leading teams on complex AI workflows to enhance efficiency across global studios.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and delivery of a portfolio of AI, GenAI, and agentic AI initiatives (R&D prototypes, internal tools, production systems) from discovery through rollout and adoption.
  • Translate business and production problems into clear technical requirements, project scopes, and roadmaps for engineering and data teams.
  • Drive the design and integration of multi agent AI workflows into existing production pipelines, tools, and services used by Virtuos studios worldwide.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and communication cadences; ensure transparent reporting to executive and studio stakeholders.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or hybrid ceremonies (backlog management, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for cross functional teams spanning software, data, infra, and production.
  • Partner with security, IT, and legal to ensure AI solutions meet governance, compliance, IP, and data privacy requirements.
  • Define and track success metrics (quality, cycle time, cost, user adoption, ROI) for AI initiatives; iterate based on data and user feedback.
  • Evangelize AI and agentic AI best practices across Virtuos, coaching teams on how to identify high value use cases and integrate AI safely and effectively.
  • Mentor junior project managers and technical leads in modern project management, risk management, and delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical project or program management, with at least 5 years leading complex, multi stakeholder technology initiatives.
  • Strong track record delivering software, data, or platform projects end to end in gaming, media, or similarly complex tech environments.
  • Hands on experience working with AI/ML, GenAI, or intelligent automation projects (e.g., LLMs, agents, recommendation systems, smart tooling).
  • Solid understanding of agentic AI concepts (multi agent orchestration, tool using agents, workflows, safety/guardrails) and modern AI frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering leaders, data scientists, MLOps, and DevOps to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
  • Strong command of Agile project management, with experience tailoring methodologies for R&D and production contexts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to engage both technical and non technical audiences across regions and cultures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PMI ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar) are preferred, not mandatory.
  • Preferred / nice-to-have
  • - Experience in AAA or AA game development, game tools, or digital content pipelines.
  • - Prior work with cloud platforms, data platforms, and CI/CD for AI/ML systems.
  • - Familiarity with change-management and rollout for global organizations, including training plans and playbooks.
  • - Passion for games and curiosity about how AI can augment creative and engineering workflows.
