About the role
- Assistant HR and Accounting supporting HR and accounting functions in a dynamic engineering firm. Overseeing various administrative tasks and collaborating with internal teams in Rheinfelden, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Support across the full HR spectrum, from recruiting to employee support
- Handling onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintenance and management of personnel files and HR databases
- Drafting employment contracts, references, agreements and certificates
- Organising and coordinating training, employee events and gifts for special occasions
- Point of contact for employees, managers and authorities on HR-related matters
- Ensuring compliance with employment law requirements and maintaining HR systems
- Managing temporary staffing and client portals
- Supporting marketing activities (e.g., LinkedIn posts)
- Reviewing and processing vendor/supplier invoices
- Contributing to SOP management (creation, maintenance and updating of Standard Operating Procedures)
- Providing cover for the team assistant
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree
- Work experience in HR and/or employment law is an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office and open to new technologies
- SAP R/3 knowledge advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and ability to stay on top of tasks under tight deadlines
- Reliable, structured working style and a solid understanding of corporate processes
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
