Community Living Support Professional providing direct care to adults with mild intellectual disabilities. Assist in recreational and skill building activities while supporting individual goals in the community and homes.
Responsibilities
This is a 40-hour direct care position working with adults with mild intellectual disabilities both in the community and in their homes.
You will be doing recreational and skill building activities, supporting individuals to meet their goals.
Schedule to be determined but likely mostly weekdays with a few possible evenings and 1 weekend day.
You must enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, have basic computer skills, be creative, and like to have fun!
Prior experience with this population is a plus but not required- as we will provide training.
Requirements
High School/GED or HiSET plus 1 year related experience and/or training.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have solid time management skills.
