About the role
- Community Living Support Professional providing direct care to adults with mild intellectual disabilities. Assist in recreational and skill building activities while supporting individual goals in the community and homes.
Responsibilities
- This is a 40-hour direct care position working with adults with mild intellectual disabilities both in the community and in their homes.
- You will be doing recreational and skill building activities, supporting individuals to meet their goals.
- Schedule to be determined but likely mostly weekdays with a few possible evenings and 1 weekend day.
- You must enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, have basic computer skills, be creative, and like to have fun!
- Prior experience with this population is a plus but not required- as we will provide training.
Requirements
- High School/GED or HiSET plus 1 year related experience and/or training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have solid time management skills.
