Responsibilities
Responsible for a civil judicial portfolio (specifically credit recovery);
Drafting all pleadings and documents for the portfolio;
Critical analysis of cases with a focus on procedural strategy to maximize successful credit recovery;
Legal research and case law (jurisprudence) analysis;
Conducting hearings;
Negotiating settlements;
Updating the firm's and client’s case management systems;
Case monitoring and procedural follow-up;
Other routine tasks related to the portfolio.
Requirements
Active OAB/SP registration (São Paulo Bar Association);
Law degree; postgraduate specialization in the area of practice is a plus;
Knowledge of Judicial Reorganization/Recovery is a plus;
Experience in asset investigations (asset tracing) is a plus;
Knowledge of banking law is a plus;
Strong writing skills and legal reasoning are essential;
Ability to work well in a team;
Good communication skills and professional demeanor;
Oral and written communication — direct client contact;
Reliability and consistent attendance.
