About the role

  • AWS Machine Learning Consultant responsible for end-to-end planning and deploying software systems. Collaborating with clients to implement technical solutions using AWS machine learning services.

Responsibilities

  • Enable customers to solve complex data science problems – including problem framing, data preparation, scripting, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumption
  • Consult, plan, design, and implement ML/AI solutions using AWS ML Services
  • Assist customers by being able to deliver a ML project from beginning to end, including understanding the business need, aggregating data, exploring data, building & validating predictive models, and deploying completed models with concept-drift monitoring and retraining to deliver business impact to the organization
  • Use AWS AI services, ML platforms, and frameworks to help our customers build ML models
  • Work with our other consultants (Big Data, IoT, HPC) to analyze, extract, normalize, and label relevant data, and with our engineers to operationalize customers’ models after they are prototyped
  • Become a deep technical resource that earns our customer's trust
  • Develop high-quality technical content such as automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to help our customers build on the cloud
  • Innovate on behalf of customers and translate your thoughts into action yielding measurable results.
  • Support solution development by conveying customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps.
  • Share real world implementation challenges and recommend expansion of capabilities through enhanced and new offerings.
  • Assist with technical briefs that document solutions
  • Assist with reference architecture implementations
  • Support internal and external brand development through thought leadership: Work with Marketing/Alliances to write blog posts
  • Work with Marketing/Alliances to develop internal case studies

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models in AWS
  • Experience in software/technology customer facing experience
  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Electrical Engineering
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
