About the role

• Product Owner managing product backlog and ensuring value delivery for business needs at Vertem. Collaborating with stakeholders and agile teams to improve product processes and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Interact with business areas;
• Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, ensuring deliveries generate maximum value for the business and the customer;
• Validate deliveries, ensuring adherence to defined acceptance criteria;
• Understand the needs of business areas and translate them for IT development teams;
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the product and processes;
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective, and Daily);
• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team;
• Identify opportunities and define scope (writing user stories);
• Plan with development teams;
• Define prioritization aligned with the business and make decisions;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Technology;
• Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and work effectively in a team;
• Good judgment for setting priorities;
• Planning and organizational skills and a hands-on mindset;
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands;
• Negotiation skills;
