About the role

Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog of the Data Platform
- Act as the primary interface between business domains, data teams, and platform engineers
- Define and prioritize platform capabilities
- Translate strategic objectives and consumer needs into clear product goals
- Ensure the platform delivers measurable value, usability, and reliability
- Drive alignment on non‑functional requirements
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Stewards
- Ensure platform capabilities support governance, traceability, and regulatory expectations
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role for technology or data platforms
- Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, or event‑driven architectures
- Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile product ownership practices
- High‑level familiarity with event streaming (e.g. Kafka), Data platforms, and data lakes
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations around data governance and resilience is beneficial
- Strong communication, facilitation, and decision‑making skills
- Curiosity, ownership mindset, and willingness to shape a platform
- Fluent English in spoken and written communication
