Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful execution of vendor solution implementations within our organization.
- Manage multiple technology projects of varying size simultaneously.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, milestone, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with business areas and stakeholders to ensure project resources are available and to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors.
- Ensure vendor solutions align with business needs, technical standards, and regulatory requirements in the electric utility sector.
- Monitor project performance and facilitate organizational change management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management experience for Project Manager I, 5 years for Project Manager II, and 10 years for Project Manager III, with a focus on vendor solution implementations required.
- Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP or Lean Six Sigma, etc.) preferred or to be pursued within 12 months for Project Manager II.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, and PMBOK).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Electric utility experience a plus.
