Responsibilities
Evaluate how our network is managed and identify manual tasks that should be converted into automated workflows
Study existing operational habits and system data to find inefficiencies
Review current network management processes and alarm data to identify repetitive manual interventions
Pinpoint specific areas where scripts or automated logic can replace manual troubleshooting or configuration steps
Conduct deep-dive investigations into various systems to determine which process improvements will provide the most significant time and cost savings
Coordinate with the US-based engineering team to ensure your automation proposals solve current operational bottlenecks
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of professional work experience
Significant experience in Networking and knowledge of Network Automation
Functional knowledge of scripting and database management to develop integrated technical solutions
Analytical experience: The ability to look at complex technical datasets and identify patterns that suggest a need for a new automation
The ability to quickly learn and navigate internal systems to gather data for process reviews
Willingness to work a schedule that includes overlap with US Day shift
A degree in Computer Science or a related field is even better
Experience interpreting existing automation scripts to improve or expand their functionality
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira to track development lifecycles
The ability to explain technical process changes to both end-users and global stakeholders
