About the role
- AI Specialist providing technical sales expertise to accelerate AI solutions in the data security industry. Collaborating with sales teams to demonstrate AI capabilities and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with your assigned sales teams to identify and support AI opportunities across your sales area
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover AI use cases in data security, intelligent search, compliance, and threat detection
- Conduct executive and technical demonstrations of Cohesity's AI capabilities
- Architect AI-powered solutions that integrate Cohesity capabilities with customer environments
- Provide technical guidance on implementing AI features within customer data infrastructure
- Position Cohesity's AI capabilities against competitive solutions in technical evaluations
- Engage with IT architects, data engineers, security teams, and technical decision-makers
- Build technical credibility that establishes trust and accelerates sales cycles
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles
- Deep hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and their enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure, storage systems, security architectures, and data pipelines
- Proven ability to architect and present technical solutions to diverse audiences
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with technical discovery, demonstrations, and POCs
- Excellent presentation skills for both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization across multiple sales teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
