You are the central contact person, designer and coordinator for implementing plant engineering projects for the secure production of security and banknote paper
You proactively participate in clarifying orders in advance and provide advisory support to customers as well as colleagues in the branches
You advise customers globally in the field of paper manufacturing, including paper machines, components and peripherals — thereby making a significant contribution to technical proposal preparation
On a project basis you take responsibility for technical clarification and detailed coordination with our suppliers, where applicable together with Product Management or Technical Sales
In coordination with our global branches you transfer orders into execution and are responsible for the timely planning of all necessary activities from ordering through installation to commissioning and acceptance of the plants
Through close coordination with internal interfaces you ensure smooth project execution and gain industry-specific know-how
Requirements
You hold a degree in engineering, preferably in paper technology, paper and process engineering or a related discipline
Ideally, in addition to your knowledge of paper and plant engineering, you have business education such as an MBA or similar
You have several years of relevant experience in plant engineering for paper mills and have managed and implemented various projects in this field
You possess excellent skills in customer and process management, project management and analysis, as well as KPI reporting, and have demonstrated these in projects—ideally in an international environment
Strong knowledge of project execution in the B2B environment, stakeholder management in plant and mechanical engineering, business development and/or product management is an advantage
Knowledge of G+D Currency Technology, particularly in the area of security paper and printing, as well as requirements of central bank and printing-house customers, is desirable
You have an entrepreneurial approach and are convincing through decisiveness, pragmatic solutions and strong execution capability
You are highly self-motivated, seek responsibility and demonstrate strong analytical and assertive abilities
Ideally you have several years of international experience and excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP and 2D/3D design software, ideally AutoCAD, round off your profile
