About the role

  • Payroll Lead ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance for U.S. and Canadian entities of G+D. Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing and supporting audits and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end of end payroll processing for all Canada & USA legal entities
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations
  • Review payroll outputs, reconciliations, tax filings, and year-end activities (W-2, T4, etc.)
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess impact on payroll processes and systems
  • Partner with Legal and Tax teams on audits, inquiries, and compliance matters

Requirements

  • Ten (10)+ years of progressive payroll experience, including U.S. and Canadian payroll
  • Experience in a Shared Services or centralized payroll environment
  • Experience supporting multi-state and multi-provincial payrolls
  • Advanced proficiency with HCM/HRIS platforms (i.e. Dayforce, ADP, ServiceNow)
  • Advanced skills in Excel and experience with HR reporting tools and analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • A specialized Canadian payroll designation of PCP or PLP is required
