Network Specialist responsible for monitoring and maintaining client site data acquisition systems. Supporting Solar Technicians and ensuring accurate data for reporting in a decarbonization company.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and reporting of client site data acquisition systems.
Ensures monitoring platforms and field devices operate properly, site data remains accurate for real-time visibility and reporting.
Configures and adjusts alarm settings to ensure timely notifications are delivered to appropriate personnel when equipment malfunctions occur.
Generates DAS reports as requested by Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Account Representatives and external customers.
Maintains detailed calibration records for monitoring devices and coordinate calibration services as required.
Provides commissioning and communications support to Solar Technicians.
Assists Solar Technicians with preventive maintenance (PM) activities and system component replacements when needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three years’ experience working with SCADA Systems, networking and Modbus systems required.
Minimum three years’ field installation and troubleshooting experience required.
Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
Computer software proficiency including Microsoft Project, Viewpoint, RS Means, Trimble Estimating and / or other job-related hardware and software applications that may be required.
Valid driver’s license required.
OSHA 10-hour certification required.
