Responsibilities
Manages and coordinates the development process with the Engineering Manager for qualified projects.
Oversees the onsite project operations for multiple small to large scale projects in the assigned region.
Provides direct leadership to a team of 8 to 10.
Participates in the pre-construction process and works with Engineering Managers.
Leads project teams in developing comprehensive project schedules.
Communicates regularly with all involved parties regarding project plans, status, upcoming activities, and open issues.
Oversees all aspects of project-related meetings, including subcontractor progress meetings and OAC meetings.
Oversees the budget process by updating required work to complete and current budget sections on a regular basis.
Initiates and leads team in close-out activities associated with the project.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in construction management, Engineering, or related field; or ten plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
15 + years’ Project Management experience, including budget management for $5 Million + contracts required.
10 years’ minimum experience running large and multiple projects required.
10 years’ leadership experience in the construction industry or related field required.
Solar industry experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
Computer software proficiency including ProCore, Microsoft Project, Viewpoint, RS Means, Trimble Estimating and/or other job-related hardware and software applications that may be required.
