About the role

• Stellvertretender Bereichsleiter für Finanzen und Risikosteuerung bei der VerbundVolksbank OWL in Paderborn. Verantwortung für strategische und operative Steuerung im Finanzbereich mit Führungsverantwortung.

Responsibilities

• Advising the Executive Board on strategic and operational matters and on the further development of the business and risk strategy
• Developing practical management initiatives and robust recommendations for action — with analytical depth and strategic foresight
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and advancing risk-bearing capacity and quantification models
• Providing business and corporate-law support for subsidiaries and participations
• Co-responsibility for the planning and management of the annual planning process

Requirements

• A degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in finance and risk controlling — ideally with leadership responsibility in a bank or financial services company
• Excellent analytical skills, commercial judgment, decisiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Initiative, solution orientation, discretion, and loyalty
• Leadership experience or the motivation to assume managerial responsibility
