About the role

  • Risk Controller ensuring economic stability and future viability. Collaborating with decision-makers and taking responsibility for impactful analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: Contribute to key-figure and capital planning as well as to the monthly profit forecast.
  • Controlling & steering: Perform contribution margin calculations at the individual-transaction, profit-center and bank-wide levels.
  • Risk controlling: Measure and monitor credit, market and other risks that are relevant for steering the overall bank.
  • Reporting: Prepare the risk report and other managerial financial analyses and evaluations.
  • Decision papers: Derive measures for earnings and risk management and prepare materials for the Management Board, the Investment Committee and the Credit Risk Committee.
  • Equity participations controlling: Regular analysis and monitoring of associated companies and subsidiaries.
  • Further development: Contribute to the optimization of methods, processes and systems in controlling and risk management.

Requirements

  • A degree in economics or a banking qualification with substantial experience in bank controlling
  • Very good analytical skills and solid knowledge of financial mathematics
  • Ability to think in an interconnected, solution-oriented and conceptual way
  • Independent, precise and structured working style
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365; ideally experienced with VR-Control and agree21
