You take on the leadership of our office
In this responsible role you coordinate the activities of the state association and the regional Württemberg Engineers' Association (WIV)
You support networking among professionals, companies and institutions
You coordinate the work of district and state boards, accompany committee meetings and ensure a smooth flow of information within the association
With organizational skill you plan, implement and develop events that bring together professionals, companies and institutions — from regional formats to state-wide events
As the central contact person you support working groups, district groups and networks with planning, communication and implementation of their activities
Through targeted public relations you increase the visibility of the VDI, develop communication measures and strategically expand the digital presence (website & social media)
You maintain and expand contacts with ministries, companies, associations and other partners, thereby helping to build a sustainable network for the engineering community in Baden‑Württemberg
You connect the district associations, promote exchange and — together with the volunteer committees — ensure sustainable cooperation, including responsible budget management for the state association
Requirements
A completed university degree, ideally in engineering or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in a political, academic or corporate environment — preferably with interface work between different stakeholder groups
Familiarity with association or federation structures and a willingness to professionally support volunteer engagement
Strong organizational skills and experience in event planning — from concept to execution
Excellent communication skills: you formulate precisely, present confidently and adapt your tone to different target groups
High proficiency in German (spoken and written) and a confident command of digital tools, Microsoft Office and social media
Diplomatic skills, initiative and flexibility, including availability for evening or weekend appointments when required
