About the role

  • Account Manager driving the development of simulation solutions for Siemens and Altair. Building customer relationships and overseeing revenue responsibility in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Grow our simulation division by deploying our expertise with existing and prospective customers
  • Use this expertise to build long-term customer relationships and drive the implementation and advisory services of our Siemens and Altair simulation solutions across Germany
  • Delight customers with tailored simulation extensions that, through your technical analysis, are seamlessly integrated into their existing PLM/CAD environments
  • Together with our consultants, demonstrate our added value as a Siemens Expert Partner in the customization and configuration of Siemens and Altair simulation software
  • Independently take revenue responsibility for your sales territory across Germany
  • Conduct professional contract negotiations and benefit from internal and external training and development opportunities
  • Work closely with your sales colleagues in adjacent areas (PLM/PDM and CAM) and leverage synergies for new leads and joint deals

Requirements

  • University degree or vocational training in a technical or commercial field
  • Several years of sales or consulting experience with complex simulation software solutions
  • Proven track record of successful acquisition and negotiation via common channels such as phone, video, and face-to-face meetings
  • Excellent German language skills are required; English skills are an advantage
