Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall site operations at North American campuses
- Manage a team of directors and facility engineers
- Ensure exceptional service and 100% uptime across the portfolio
- Drive continuous improvement by measuring metrics and KPIs
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Construction teams to optimize construction costs
- Protect and improve the value of assets by ensuring machinery and systems meet or exceed life spans
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving service issues
- Drive the development and implementation of improved standards for maintenance and budgeting
- Build high-performing site operations teams through engagement and trust
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in site operations or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- Proven experience in the data center industry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building systems and machinery, with the ability to recognize performance deficiencies and respond to operational and emergency situations
- Demonstrated expertise in reliability engineering and project management
- Proficiency in operations management software and systems
- Consistent track record of excellent internal and external customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and building automation systems
