About the role
- Senior Director shaping the future of Vanguard’s critical Cash and Savings strategy. Leading pricing strategy, bank partnerships, and governance with a high-impact team.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the long-term strategy for rate and bank network management across the Cash & Savings portfolio
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders in Finance, Risk, Legal, and Vanguard Client Segments
- Lead strategic planning and transformation initiatives that position Vanguard as a market leader in cash solutions.
- Architect rate structures that drive client value, competitive differentiation, and financial sustainability.
- Explore new and innovative pricing strategies
- Lead pricing forums and governance routines to ensure transparency, agility, and alignment across segments
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, competitor movements, and client behaviors to inform strategic pivots and day to day pricing execution decision
- Oversee the design and evolution of Vanguard’s program bank network
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with banks, custodians, and network providers.
- Ensure operational excellence and risk-smart execution across all bank-related processes
- Represent Cash & Savings in enterprise forums, steering committees, and strategic reviews
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services managing a strategic pricing function
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Graduate degree or PhD preferred
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of banking infrastructure, vendor management, and deposit products.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and financial forecasting
