About the role
- Senior Data Analyst shaping data-driven insights for Wealth Management at Vanguard. Delivering impactful analytics and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance client services.
Responsibilities
- Elevate the Wealth Management BI product portfolio by delivering best-in-class data visualization and analytics experiences.
- Deliver deep insights into Relationship Manager (RM) and Advisor performance to inform coaching and strategic investments.
- Partner with senior leaders across to shape the future of Vanguard’s Wealth offer through data-driven insights.
- Design, build, and own high-impact dashboards, reports, and analytical assets used by senior leaders.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches.
- Develop compelling data visualizations and narratives that influence decisions at the executive level.
- Act as a thought partner to stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities where analytics can improve performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or a complex regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar), with a proven track record of building executive-ready dashboards.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets; familiarity with modern data platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and insights into influence—especially with senior stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping analytical solutions where requirements are not fully defined.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell clear, compelling stories with data.
