About the role
- Digital Project Manager managing complex web and IT infrastructure projects for clients in various sectors. Collaborating with teams and ensuring project success from conception to launch.
Responsibilities
- Independent planning, management and coordination of web development projects with a client focus in the energy, industrial, public sector and healthcare domains
- Structured requirements management and development of recommendations for technical solution approaches
- Use and further development of our internal AI tools to produce technical concepts and project documentation
- Expert maintenance and support of our content management systems, particularly the current version of TYPO3
- Responsibility for technical project delivery within time and budget constraints, including continuous quality assurance
- Coordination and close collaboration with our teams (web development, design, content) as well as clients and partner agencies to ensure a shared understanding of processes and objectives
- Clear communication of complex technical information to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise
- Ensuring accurate and reliable reporting and forecasting data in close coordination with Finance
Requirements
- Degree in a technical or business-related field, IT vocational training, or equivalent qualification
- Strong technical understanding, particularly of content management systems (primarily TYPO3; knowledge of Contao, IBEXA and/or WordPress is desirable)
- Proven experience in technical requirements management and in creating technical specifications
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable digital/technical project management role
- Strong expertise in managing and implementing technically complex web projects such as relaunches and platform developments
- Understanding of development processes and tools, web technologies (PHP, Symfony, API architectures, DevOps) and content management systems
- High affinity for and good knowledge of current internet technologies and AI-powered tools
- Experience with agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban) is desirable
