About the role

  • Ensure the ERP system is consistently available, performs optimally, and meets all operational service level agreements (SLAs), especially during peak retail periods
  • Lead the process for triaging, resolving, and performing root cause analysis (RCA) on critical production issues impacting inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and financial postings
  • Own the operational health and stability of the critical interfaces between the ERP system and major platforms, most importantly the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Act as the voice of the business, translating operational needs and pain points into clear requirements for the IT support and development teams
  • Define, track, and report on key system performance metrics and operational efficiency KPIs
  • Manage and execute system maintenance, patches, and version upgrades

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership or related roles
  • Extensive experience managing the operational lifecycle of a major ERP system (e.g., Island Pacific, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferably in a high-volume retail environment
  • Deep functional knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes within an ERP, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory valuation
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing mission-critical integrations, specifically between an ERP and a WMS, and a clear understanding of how integration stability impacts inventory integrity and warehouse throughput
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
