About the role

  • Designer specializing in structured washed product, designing collections aligning with Anthropologie's seasonal theme and aesthetic. Responsible for leading assortments and ensuring product integrity.

Responsibilities

  • design and execute collections each season
  • interpret seasonal fashion direction
  • lead the creation and execution of seasonal assortments
  • develop and execute trim packages
  • prepare and present materials for key seasonal milestone meetings
  • maintain strong awareness of current trends
  • monitor product development timelines and implement solutions
  • collaborate with Design and Buying teams to understand financial performance
  • effectively communicate updates to leadership
  • embrace feedback with professionalism and agility
  • build and sustain positive relationships with partners

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an Associate Designer role
  • strong understanding of the Anthropologie target customer
  • exceptional sketching ability
  • solid working knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and trims
  • experience with washed product categories, including denim and PFD
  • familiarity and knowledge of structured fabrications
  • highly proficient in hand sketching and digital design, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate
  • technical garment-making skills, including mocking, draping, and sewing.
