Responsibilities
- As a member of a highly skilled engineering team, you are responsible for concepting, designing and implementing complete machine vision solutions that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
- Involvement in projects from the quoting phase through to final acceptance at site is critical in providing project technical guidance and support.
- Development and management of ATS Imaging standard products and services will be required to help facilitate ATS Imaging business and growth models.
Requirements
- At least a post-secondary degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics program required.
- Strong preference will be given to those with a Masters, PhD or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience with machine vision, motion control and/or robotics in system design and integration of factory automation projects is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one object oriented programming language and Image processing algorithms is essential.
- Strong preference will be given to designers with a proven background in the development of optical, illumination and machine vision systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead or work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team are essential.
